re the caulis! I had no success at home with them, but at the plot they seem much better. One of them is a bit pink, but they are big enough for 4 servings for greedy people already. Don't know why they are bigger at the plot. I did manure well this year, and kept them watered when it was very dry. If yours have brown curds I did read that it is a boron deficiency and to use epsom salts on them. Cabbages are a seaside crop so the salt makes sense.
